Talking about the encounter on Wednesday, in which Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Naveed Jatt, suspected to be one of the three assailants who killed senior journalist Shujaat Bukhari, was gunned down, ADG (law and order) Munir Khan said a joint team of security forces launched the operation in Kuthpora in the pre-dawn hours based on a credible input about the presence of terrorists in a house.
